Located just 10 miles from downtown Chicago, The Beverly Country Club was established in 1908 and has long been recognized as a championship-caliber golf course. Originally laid out by George O’Neil, with input from Tom Bendelow, the course was later elevated by legendary architect Donald Ross, whose masterful routing took full advantage of the property’s striking ridge line.
Beverly has undergone multiple restorations to preserve Ross’ vision, most recently a Master Restoration Project completed in 2020, followed by the addition of a par 3 course, Himalayan putting green and enhanced practice facilities in 2023. Stretching over 7,000 yards, Beverly is consistently ranked among Golfweek’s Top 100 Classic Courses.
The club’s championship pedigree includes hosting four Western Opens, the 1930 Western Amateur, 1931 U.S. Amateur, and more recently the 2009 U.S. Senior Amateur, 2011 Western Junior and 2014 Western Amateur.
Beverly also holds a proud tradition of supporting the Evans Scholars Foundation, boasting more Evans Scholars recipients than any club in the nation.
