Handicap Cart Request Information
The Western Golf Association (WGA) will review requests for the use of handicap spectator carts at WGA championships on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), for individuals with a permanent disability.
Spectators seeking a golf cart due to a disability must complete and submit the WGA Cart Request Form by July 17, 2026. The host club has a limited number of carts available, and assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to completing this form, handicapped spectators must present their placard at Tournament Headquarters before receiving a golf cart. Individuals will be charged a daily fee for the use of approved handicap spectator carts.
Requests related to temporary injuries or impairments that do not qualify as an ADA-recognized disability will not be granted. For reference, an ADA-protected disability is defined as: “a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of such individual.” (42 U.S.C.S. §12102, 2001).
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) on the request form are required, including an attachment explaining the nature of the disability.
